Sometimes you just want your OS to fade into the background -- no bright colors, just something that's easy on the eyes and lets you focus on the task at hand.

With that in mind, I made TenFiveBlue, a mashup/mod of TenFive (iTunes) 1.3 & 1.4 and MyTenFive. Some might accuse me of being a part of the iTunes 7 grey & blue mafia; but with the bright stoplights of Leopard, I wanted something a little more subdued. This mod originally started as a straight port of "MyTenFive" back to shapeshifter and ended up as more of a mashup -- a little of everthing with some extra work to get the dark menus and gradients right.

There are 4 theme variants -- 2 with smoke dark menus (and blue gradient menuitem hi-lights), and 2 with light menus - each color comes with "sharp" and rounded finder buttons. (like TenFive 1.3 & 1.4)

5 app skins. 4 Variants. All easy on the eyes.

ta very much!
Excellent mod, saw your thread on MT2 and downloaded. Looks like it's going to be my default SS theme until 10.5 releases. Thanks for sharing. :wow:
Isn't this theme this [link] ? iMetal

nope. This is a direct mod of TenFive 1.3 & 1.4 (by Austin Heller) and MyTenFive (by Pierre Breteau) on OSX. I personally created the menus/gradients and made various small cleanups, mods, and additions. (Except for the omniweb buttons, which were supplied by Jon Hicks). All items were used with explicit permission of the original authors (all on OS X) and permissions can be supplied to anyone that requests it. (And I can supply all my WIP resources and themepark files.) I just happened to finish doing a manual decompilation of my themepark sources, I'll supply them for inspection on demand. Also feel free to take a look at the MacThemes.net forums for the original TenFive and the MyTenFive themes.

The iMetal windows theme *is* very similar--I guess great minds think alike! It's not very surprising to see independent evolution of similar themes, given the iTunes 7 inspiration of both themes.

My only concern would be the origin of the titlebar buttons; again, mine came directly from Pierre who claims original authorship--what's the origin of the buttons in the iMetal theme?
Other than that, while things look simlar, they have obvious subtle differences, the colors used in windows are different, as are the explorer buttons, apple icons, spotlight menu extras, the menus, etc.

BTW, is there even an OSX version of iMetal? I haven't seen one anywhere and I wasn't aware of its existence until I started hunting down WB themes.

There is a guikit of it on macthemes. It's been a beta release for a couple of months now though

I asked because iMetal has been in beta for a couple of months now and was not sure if you took over the skin as I think he has kinda lost interest in it lol

hmm. download link for it on MT seems to be down. I'll try and find a copy to play with.
